Parallel Circuits: turning on multiple LEDs
After turning on a single LED, you may want to try turning on more LEDs in a single circuit.
To turn on multiple LEDs with one battery, you can use a parallel circuit. To make this, instead of marking one dot on the page, mark multiple dots where you will place the LED’s. Then mark the + and – ends of the LED’s and connect all the dots the same way as with one LED, except now you are using a parallel track of copper tape where one copper strip of the track is + and the other is -. This is called connecting LEDs in parallel.
